上週上過了地球的構造， 接著我們要來談談包著地球的大氣層!

地球的大氣層共有五層, 分別是troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere。為了讓小孩可以有趣的記住這五層的名稱跟特性, 我寫了一個Rap 讓他們邊跳邊念!

Troposphere, clouds and rains. Troposphere, lightening and thunder. Troposphere, the first layer of the atmosphere!

Stratosphere, airplanes fly. Stratosphere, above the clouds. Stratosphere, ozone layer. Stratosphere, the 2^nd layer of the atmosphere.

Mesosphere, meteors burn up. Mesosphere, very very very cold. Mesosphere, the third layer of the atmosphere.

Thermosphere, satellites. Thermosphere, very very very hot! Thermosphere, the fourth layer of the atmosphere.

Exosphere, satellites. Exosphere, bland into space. Exosphere, the fifth layer of the atmosphere.

因為這個口訣他們很容易就記住每層的先後次序名稱跟特性, 連我五歲的小兒子都背得起來! 我很喜歡用口訣幫助孩子記熟定義。

也有人把大氣層寫成一首好聽的歌  

基本上呢, 第一層就是我們眼睛看的到的天空, 有雲有雨, 有閃電…第二層是飛機主要飛的地方, 也是臭氧層所在 (飛機飛在第二層的下方), 第三層隕石到了這一層會跟分子摩擦的關係被燒掉了….但這一層非常非常的冷! 原因是因為CO2 多的關係, 另外也是因為空氣分子少, 不易吸收太陽反射的熱能….所以它是最冷的一層唷! 零下90度C耶!!!!

再來Thermosphere, 是衛星可到達的地方, 這層非常非常的熱…..為什麼呢? 因為Thermosphere 中的氧分子可以吸收從太陽反射出來的熱, 溫度可高達2000度C呢! 可是因為這層的空氣非常非常的少, 密度也很低, 所以就算溫度是高的, 熱能比較無法轉移….所以衛星不會因此被燒毀唷! 很奇妙吧~

最後一層 Exosphere…也是衛星可以到的地方。這層也跟太空連接起來…..

我們用各種不同的液體來做大氣層瓶, 約低層的密度要越高才可以唷! 你也可以直接用剪紙的方式來呈現每一層的特性, 比如說第一層可以有雲有雨等等, 第二層有飛機…諸如此類。

了解的每層的基本特性後, 在地上我們畫了五個大圈, 讓孩子寫上名稱, 在塗鴉每一層有的東西…然後我只要喊出名稱來, 他們就要單腳跳至正確的答案那圈! 

這些都是可以幫助孩子瞭解學習大氣層的活動…..
