The Fighting Ground by Avi: 這本書寫到一位13歲小男孩在美國革命戰爭中的經歷…很寫實, 但不會血腥卻可以感受到小男孩的忠誠

 

Benjamin Franklin (Young Pinter): 我老大兩天就讀完了, 我想應該是很好看, 通常他可以很快讀完就表示他很愛這本書的內容, 他也順便讀了這系列的George Washington…這系列的都很棒!

 

Vocabulary 生字 (這些字都在Ben and Me 那本書裡面): 我讓孩子查這些字的意思並造句

Craft/Project 手做

你知道Ben 除了是發明家, 他也開始了Saturday Post Magazine..當時在美國很紅的雜誌! Saturday Post 雜誌公司有幾位很有名的插畫家, 其中一位叫做Norman Rockwell…我們讀了他的故事繪本, 學習欣賞他的插畫, 妳可以讓孩子看著他的插畫, 並讓孩子口述他覺得畫中的故事。
